Although this picture does not feature the Carmalite friar it does appear to show another presence.
This particular photo was taken when the husband of the lady in the picture, who was inside the church nave, noticed ‘someone’ standing beside her at the west door entrance – it appears to be a man dressed in medieval clothing.
She had no idea she had ‘company’ at the time where the figure can be seen standing behind her to the left. The lady wishes to remain anonymous therefore her face has been blurred.
Interestingly, as the apparition also appears blurry perhaps it also wishes to remain anonymous!

The nave showing the wall paintings on either side and above the chancel arch through which can be seen the newly installed chancel window complete with new stonework.
The East Gable depicts the Resurrection scene while the scene on the West Gable depicts Satan disposing of a sinner into a pit.
Above the chancel arch is the very rare Seat of Mercy wall painting.
